We are a small home cattery in Denver, Colorado. Ask us anything about our British Shorthair kittens, the waiting list, or what living with the breed is actually like. There is no obligation to reserve, and we would far rather answer ten questions now than place a kitten in the wrong home.

Visits are by appointment so queens and young litters are not disturbed. We are always happy to do a video call first.

Tell us a little about your household and what you are hoping for. The more you tell us, the better we can match you to the right kitten, or tell you honestly if we are not the right cattery for you.

    What to Include in Your First Message

    You do not need to write an essay, but a few details let us give you a genuinely useful answer instead of a generic one.

    • Who is at home. Adults, children and their ages, and whether someone is usually around during the day.
    • Other pets. Cats, dogs, and how they have handled newcomers before.
    • What you are looking for. A particular color or sex, or simply the kitten whose temperament suits you best.
    • Your timing. Whether you are ready now or happy to wait for a future litter.
    • Anything you are unsure about. Allergies, travel, first-time ownership. These are good questions, not awkward ones.

    When You Will Hear Back

    We answer every inquiry ourselves. Expect a reply within one working day by email, or the same day if you call during our hours. If you have not heard from us in two days, something has gone wrong with the message, so please call rather than assume we are ignoring you.

    What we will not do is pressure you. We do not use countdown timers, we do not tell you another family is about to take the kitten you are asking about, and we will not take a deposit from someone who still sounds unsure. If a British Shorthair is not the right breed for your household, we would rather say so.
